Collagen Fruit Jellies (Printable)

Soft, chewy fruit snacks infused with collagen for a nourishing, guilt-free bite-sized treat.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup 100% fruit juice (orange, mixed berries, or apple)
02 - 2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste (optional)

→ Collagen & Gelling

03 - 2 tablespoons grass-fed collagen peptides (about 20 g)
04 - 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder (about 30 g)

# Directions:

01 - Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to bloom and absorb the liquid.
02 - Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the gelatin dissolves completely. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
03 - Remove from heat and stir in the collagen peptides and honey or maple syrup if using, mixing thoroughly until fully combined.
04 - Transfer the mixture into silicone molds or a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the jellies are completely firm and set.
06 - Remove the jellies from the molds. If using a baking dish, cut into bite-sized squares with a paring knife.
07 - Keep the finished jellies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • They taste like fruit snacks from the store but your body actually thanks you for eating them.
  • The collagen makes your skin feel surprisingly bouncy after a couple weeks of snacking on these daily.
02 -
  • If you rush the chilling step and pull them out early, they will weep and collapse, which is heartbreaking after all that patience.
  • Collagen peptides and gelatin are not the same thing, and you really do need both for the right texture and nutritional benefit.
03 -
  • Spray your molds with the faintest mist of oil before pouring and every single piece will release perfectly without tearing.
  • Let the gelatin bloom the full 3 minutes without poking or stirring it, because disturbing it early leads to clumps that never dissolve.
